Jadon Sancho’s ‘agent has arrived’ in Turin for conversations with Juventus over a move from Manchester United.
That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who report that Juventus are focused on improving their attack and the Manchester United man is once again on their radar.
They are intent on closing on a deal for Sancho and news coming directly from Turin is that his agent has arrived in the city. The purpose of the trip is to talk to Juventus and find a definitive solution to the transfer negotiations.
That is all that they offer at this moment in time, although Corriere dello Sport reported today that Juventus could make an important move for Sancho.
They say that talks with the Manchester United forward have never stopped as he’s very much out of the picture at Old Trafford. In fact, he’s completely out of United’s plans and they will even grant him a severance package to facilitate his exit.
Juventus initially offered €10m plus €5m in bonuses but Manchester United have asked for €20m. The gap isn’t great by any means and the intermediaries are working to close it. Sancho, for his part, has a clear path to finalise a personal agreement worth around €5.5-6m per year, after tax.
Perhaps his agent is in Turin to work on that, close it off, and the focus on the gap with Manchester United and working out a deal that suits all parties.
