Federico Chiesa’s future at Liverpool has been a topic of debate in Italy for months now, pretty much since he left Serie A for the Premier League.
While the Italian will get a Premier League medal after he made his fifth league appearance against Chelsea, speculation surrounding his future refuses to go away.
It now seems as if attempts to help him seal a Liverpool exit are intensifying and Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported on it.
The journalist has stated that getting a medal for the Premier League triumph is only a ‘small satisfaction’ for the winger and he ideally wants to play more often at the highest level.
That is why his agent Fali Ramadani will soon fly to Liverpool to ‘take stock’ of the situation, with an ‘air of separation’ now lingering around the player.
The Italy international is currently torn between proving himself in England and playing regularly elsewhere. The most plausible scenario is currently a return to Italy.
There is interest from Napoli and AC Milan. The Rossoneri and the Partenopei are ready to give Chiesa the platform to relaunch his career and all of this could be a part of the discussions between Ramadani and Liverpool.
