It looks like Javier Hernandez’s transfer from West Ham United to Valencia isn’t just another transfer window rumour. As reported by the Spanish press today, the player’s agent was spotted meeting the La Liga club on Tuesday.
Radio Intereconomia not only reports it, but also posted a video showing Eduardo Hernandez walking around the Mestalla Stadium, where he would have met Pablo Longoria, Mateu Alemany and Anil Murthy.
It’s been called a ‘definitive meeting’.
However, the outlet claims that the transfer is now ‘further than ever’ because West Ham won’t accept a loan deal. This version is backed up by AS, who covers the story, and adds that Valencia are having trouble matching the €10m-€12m demanded by the London side.
It’s claimed that Eduardo Hernandez is ‘trying to unblock’ the transfer, but it looks like the agent hasn’t much more to do, as it’s the clubs who are stopping the move by not agreeing on terms.
