Dusan Vlahovic’s agent is dangling the potential signing in front of Tottenham, although it may be ambitious more than anything.
La Stampa report that Vlahovic’s agent is dangling him in front of several clubs in Europe, Tottenham among them.
The Serbian started the 0-0 draw with Club Brugge this week on the bench, his second straight absence from the starting 11. This is not due to injury, but a technical choice by Thiago Motta.
The striker appears to be out of favour at the club, and the imminent arrival of Randal Kolo Muani means he will have someone to compete with in the near future.
The 24-year-old has now entered the final 18 months of his contract, with his current deal set to expire in June 2026. A new contract is yet to be signed and so it does mean he could be moved on to ensure the Italian club don’t have to sell on the cheap this summer.
That’s led to Vlahovic’s agent, Darko Ristic, who ‘continues keep contacts alive’ with teams who could move for him this month. Tottenham are one of them, alongside Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain. It seems he thinks all four of them are viable targets.
He’s waiting to see if any of them make their move, otherwise Vlahovic will wait for six months and then see what happens in the summer.
We’d suggest that’s far more likely than him going to Tottenham, whose current league position would surely be a massive no for him at his moment in time.
It all depends on what Motta does in the coming weeks, and perhaps if his agent can talk anyone into making an official bid.
