According to Takvim , Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could join Fenerbahce in the summer after being told he won’t be a part of Frank Lampard’s plans next season.
It’s claimed Batshuayi’s agent Meïssa N’diaye has made contact with Fenerbahce’s board to present his client as a potential option, and they are now evaluating the proposition.
Takvim believe the 26 year old could be a decent replacement for Vedat Muriqi, who has been linked with a move away from the club, with the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur said to be interested in his services.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to accept a cut-price fee for the Belgian international, and it’s claimed he could head to the Super Lig side for just €7m, which sounds a little on the low side.
The former Marseille striker has found himself down the pecking order at Chelsea, with Lampard preferring Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud.
This season the Belgian has made 24 appearances for the Blues, scoring six goals. His contract at Stamford Bridge will expire at the end of June 2021.
