The agent of West Ham United forward Simone Zaza has told the Italian media his client will be returning to Juventus. The Italy international joined West Ham on loan from the Serie A champions in the summer, but has failed to make an impact in his time in England.

Speaking to TMW, Antonio Zaza, the player’s agent and father, was asked about the forward heading back to Juventus this month. Zaza’s agent said it is now clear the player will be returning to Italy, and also confirmed Juventus have been informed of the this.

“Yes, it seems clear to me. I have also told them,” said the West Ham loanee’s agent.

Zaza joined West Ham in the last transfer window, but has failed to score in his time at the club. West Ham could have made the transfer permanent if Zaza had played a certain number of games for Slaven Bilic’s side, but with this in mind the Italian international has been frozen out in recent weeks.
