Last month we covered a claim from Calciomercato that Manchester City will only sell Oleksandr Zinchenko in January if they receive a ‘sensational offer’.
On December 21st, AMK Sport reported that Fenerbahce have made a move for the Ukranian utility player, who can play as a midfielder and a left-back.
Since the start of November, the 22-year-old has made seven appearances in all competitions, but that isn’t enough for him, according to the player’s agent Alan Prudnikov.
“It’s still not enough for him to be happy, but the situation is better than two months ago,” Prudnikov told Radio Marte, as quoted by Tutto Mercato Web.
“He played three games in the Champions League, we appreciated these chances he had, he needs this to grow.”
“We’re always open to possible solutions for the boy. In this transfer window, City do not want to sell him because they need him, but we remain at the window to listen to other offers, especially for the summer,” he added.
Napoli were interested in taking the City player in 2017, but no deal took shape and despite Prudnikov having a good rapport with the Italian side, he explains it will not be straightforward for Carlo Ancelotti’s side to sign Zinchenko.
“From the last meeting in the summer of 2017 with Napoli, the relationships are excellent. However, compared to the time the price of the boy has grown a lot, it is complicated,” Zinchenko’s agent explained.
