Ryan Babel’s agent Winnie Haatrecht has spoken to Turkish newspaper Star and confirmed his client has had offers from other clubs, including in the Premier League.
After Fulham’s relegation back to the Championship was confirmed last week it’s widely expected the 32 year old will leave the London club.
Haatrech said English clubs are taking an interest, along with Super Lig sides: “Babel is keen to return to Turkey. Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas all want to sign him, but we’ve had a few offers from Premier League sides.
“He’s a free agent and it’s easy for us to choose a new team. He will join the club that will pay him the most.”
Refreshingly honest.
In recent weeks the Netherlands international has been linked with a return to the Super Lig after claims Galatasaray found an agreement with the Fulham winger. His former club Besiktas have also been showing an interest.
The player only arrived at Fulham during the last window, however, it seems he won’t be at Craven Cottage next season when his six month deal expires.
Babel has made 11 appearances for Fulham this season in the Premier League and scored three goals.
