The agent and father of West Ham United forward Simone Zaza has told the Italian media the move will be permanent soon. Zaza joined the Hammers in the summer initially on loan from Juventus, and Antonio Zaza has confirmed the forward has a clause in the agreement to become a West Ham player after a number of games.
Speaking to Tutto Juve, Antonio revealed even though Zaza is currently on loan with West Ham if he plays 10 games for for the club then the transfer will be made permanent. Antonio pointed out the Italy international has already played either four or five games (it’s five now), and subsequently the clause can be activated very soon.
“He’s on loan from Juventus with a 10 appearances redemption obligation. I think he’s done 4 or 5 appearances so far,” said the player’s agent.
After a slow start in England, there has been recent speculation that AC Milan could be interested in Zaza, but even if a future move were to happen, it’s now almost certain Zaza will be a permanent West Ham player soon.
