Even after the slight disappointing transfer of Lys Mousset, now enjoying himself at Sheffield United, AFC Bournemouth are still looking in France for up and coming talent.
The now 24-year-old arrived from Le Havre back in 2016 for just under £6m, and despite just five goals and an assist in 71 appearances, the Cherries managed to make a profit, as he moved to Chris Wilder’s side for £10m in the summer.
Perhaps it’s for that reason that Eddie Howe’s team have decided to dip their toes in the French market again, as Foot Mercato explain the Premier League side have signed young defender Noa Boutin, a 16-year-old.
They state it’s the first time AFC Bournemouth have signed a French player this young, and he will join the club’s academy in July once the current season is over.
In the meantime, the youngster will finish the season with AC Boulogne-Billancourt, for whom he features at U17 level.
