It’s been a couple of weeks since the Spanish media got back to speaking of Ruben Neves’ potential move from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Barcelona.
Outlet Sport even had a story claiming ‘everything is very advanced’, as following the interest from the summer, the Catalan side would now be pursuing a January move.
Now as the same website today features a story about Barça’s chase for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, they can’t avoid speaking of the talks for the Wolves star too.
They use the same terms to say there are ‘already very advanced conversations’ with Ruben Neves.
It’s said the La Liga giants are in a hurry to bring a player for that position in January, just so he can help them to still conquer titles this season.
The pursuit for Jorginho is labelled as ‘really complicated’, and that makes the Wolverhampton player an easier option on the table, although there are not many details about a potential deal for now.
Back in October, Sport had even mentioned the possibility of a loan with an obligatory buying clause, so let’s see if the Molineux side would be on board with that, with Neves likely to have a say in the matter as well.
