West Ham United have joined Everton in the chase to sign Udinese’s Rodrigo Becão.

For the past week or so, multiple claims from Italy have stressed about the Toffees looking at the defender. David Moyes’ side are now added to his suitor list.

This is according to Tutto Udinese, who say several clubs are observing the 26-year-old’s situation. This includes both Everton and West Ham, and the Premier League duo are ‘always on the alert’ to sign the Brazilian.

His contract runs down in 2024 and this attracts his suitors. The likes of Frank Lampard’s side, the Hammers or other clubs could secure the Brazilian’s services for around €20m.

Due to ‘a lot of interest’ in the centre-back, the Serie A side want to secure his long-term future, but this will not be made easier by Everton, West Ham and other clubs’ interest in the South American.

From Italy, Inter Milan and Torino are named as the player’s suitors, and Tutto Udinese say ‘we’ll probably hear about Becão for a while longer’, which suggests Becão’s situation, at least with his renewal at Torino, is unlikely to be sorted out in the near future.
