Sturm Graz sporting director Günter Kreissl has told the Austrian media Dario Maresic has received offers from foreign clubs and now the final decision will be with the youngster.
The 18 year old will become a free agent in the summer and has been linked with a move to Bournemouth in recent weeks.
Speaking to Sky Sports Austria, Kreissl was quizzed about the situation with Maresic and Sturm Graz: “The expert opinions are generally unanimous it would be good for him to have another year at Sturm Graz.
“There are great offers from abroad and Dario must then decide for himself what he does.”
Last month we covered reports from Austria that Bournemouth were monitoring the situation with Maresic and had offered the defender a contract.
Maresic is one of a number of players that will be out of contract with the Austrian side this summer, and Bournemouth see the player as a good investment.
Maresci came through the Sturm Graz youth system, and made his debut for the senior team last year. However, he’s has been unable to cement a place in the starting eleven.
