Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has long been a transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain and the Ligue 1 winners have set their sights on bringing the midfielder to the Parc des Princes.
An earlier report from RMC Sport suggested that sporting director Antero Henrique has made Kante his priority target for the summer transfer window.
Another report from RMC Sport now claims Henrique is an admirer of the France international and is keen on securing his services.
PSG’s efforts in signing Kante can be “complicated”. It is mainly because the player has no plans to leave Chelsea as he wants to continue in England.
It’s not the first time Kante’s happiness in the Premier League has been covered, and all this should force PSG to look elsewhere in the market as to find a replacement for Thiago Motta.
The former Barcelona and Inter player’s contract with PSG will expire in the summer and he’s already announced his decision to manage PSG’s U19s.
Unai Emery has already decided to leave the French champions after this season. Thomas Tuchel is set to replace Emery at PSG and the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss reportedly wants to sign Julian Weigl for the French capital club.
