Calciomercato have another take on Alvaro Morata returning to Juventus, and it’s quite similar to their last one.
The growing theme for the Italian website, and some in the wider Italian media, seems to be that it’s a nice idea, Morata would be up for it, but the cost of a deal is the big problem.
Calciomercato believe Morata would ‘more than willingly’ make the return to Juventus. That could be based on them knowing he was very happy at the club and living in Italy, and his first season at Chelsea hasn’t gone perfectly.
Then there’s wages. This time Calciomercato say Morata is paid €8m (likely after tax, as they quote wages in Italy) plus bonuses at Chelsea, and getting near that is another hurdle.
‘Evaluations are in progress’ and that’s all it seems right now. A nice idea for Juve.
