One thing, perhaps the only thing, that Don Balon can’t be questioned over is their imagination. It’s brilliant.
They’ve managed to come up with a Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United transfer rumour which doesn’t end up with the Portuguese superstar landing at Old Trafford.
To cut a long story short, it’s claimed Manchester United can sign Neymar from PSG and Ronaldo will then replace the Brazilian in Paris.
The Spanish imagirumour website can’t get enough of the idea of Jose Mourinho getting Neymar this summer and they now have a new dream on it every day.
The response has been ‘positive’ and Neymar is keen on the move, whilst the Premier League club are prepared to smash all records and pay €400m for the player.
Don Balon seem to have wedged this €400m figure into their minds, despite it seeming ridiculous. If PSG aren’t thrilled with Neymar themselves, as the website has claimed, then it seems absurd they could make more than €150m profit after a season.
Ah, there’s another thing we can’t question Don Balon over… a fear to be absurd.
