According to a claim in the Italian media, Everton are showing an interest in Catania defender Luka Bogdan.
The Croatian has been with the Serie C side since last year after arriving from Vicenza.
TMW have today reported Bogdan is in the ‘viewfinder’ of Everton, and could be an option for the Premier League side.
The Toffees will already be looking to the next transfer window, and be keen to bolster their squad this summer, yet if Bogdan was brought in by Everton it’s likely he would be seen as one for the future, and would be placed in the club’s U23 team.
During his time at Vicenza he played just nine league games, but this year he’s cemented a place in Catania’s first team, starting twenty four games in this campaign.
Under Cristiano Lucarelli the 21 year old has flourished this season, which has reportedly brought him to the attention of Everton.
A new name for the ever growing list.
