The saga is finally coming to an end. Manchester City can finally announce the signing of Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras.
The information is from the very reliable Brazilian journalist Paulo Vinícius Coelho, who works for Fox Sports. He claims that City are paying €32m for the youngster, with further bonuses still to be added to that amount.
According to PVC, Pep Guardiola is expected to use a 4-3-3 system this season, in which Jesus could be used on the wings or as a centre-forward.
Palmeiras are set to receive €22m, with the other €10m being shared between the player’s agent Cristiano Simões and his former agent Fábio Caran.
The 19-year-old is reportedly staying in Brazil until the end of the Brazilian League, which takes place until December. He’s debuting for the Olympic team on Thursday, at 8PM BST, against South Africa.
