Sandro Ramirez’s options aren’t looking as good as they did in December.
Back then, before the window was even open, there was confidence in Spain the Everton player would be off to Valencia.
That sounded a very attractive move, with Valencia third in La Liga and a really positive atmosphere around the club. Instead, the club signed Luciano Vietto on loan from Atletico Madrid, on relatively low wages, and he scored a hat-trick on his debut.
Sevilla and Villarreal were also linked with the Everton player, but now those tracks have gone a little quieter and it appears Sandro is having to look further down the La Liga table to find interest.
In their Monday edition, AS claim Betis, in 13th place, want Sandro. The Spanish newspaper say the club’s manager has a profile for a January recruit and the Everton player fits it.
Betis may be reluctant to pay a decent loan fee and certainly reluctant to go anywhere near the full amount of Sandro’s wages.
Next down the list is likely to be Malaga, second from bottom and again in a relegation battle.
