According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Leeds United have missed out on the chance to sign young forward Moise Kean on loan.
The Juventus owned player has been linked with Leeds United in recent days, but it seems he’ll remain on loan with Hellas Verona until the end of the season.
Di Marzio has reported Verona will not deprive themselves of Kean, as the 17 year old has been contintually used by Fabio Pecchia. Kean has started eight Serie A games this season despite his age, and in recent games has been given the nod by Pecchia.
With Verona in a relegation battle they won’t want to lose the Juventus loanee, which comes as a blow to Leeds United.
It’s claimed Leeds United offered more money than is paid on the current loan, but the Serie A side want to keep him.
Leeds United’s attempt for Kean is certainly ambitious. The youngster has been linked with moves to some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea.
