Ukrainian website Sport.Ua claim reported Everton target Domagoj Vida has performed a U-turn and has now decided to extend his contract with Dynamo Kiev.
The Croatia international has been linked with the Premier League side in the past week after claims the Toffees had tabled a bid for the player.
It’s been reported Dynamo Kiev have decided to match the terms Besiktas have offered to the 28 year old, which is likely to end Everton’s supposed interest in the player.
In recent days we covered reports from Turkey that Besiktas might be tempted to let Vida join Everton without even playing for them, and they were looking for bids in the region of €10m.
There were even reports Everton had already offered €7m to the Turkish champions to sign Vida in the new year.
These latest claims put a huge question mark over suggestions Beskitas had a pre-contract agreement with the central defender, and whether Everton were ever that serious about the Croatian.
