A little snippet from Catalan newspaper Sport shows the way the Sandro Ramirez story is slightly changing in Spain.
From it being reported at the beginning of the week that Valencia had decided Sandro is the club’s number one target for January, someone seems to have decided too much enthusiasm was shown.
Now it’s turning to a stance of Everton looking to offload Sandro, which would see Valencia potentially get a better deal. First, it was stated by the Valencia regional press that Sandro would likely be a substitute anyway, and then it was explained Everton would be expected to split the player’s wages on any loan, and now it’s Everton said to be pushing things.
Sport, in a small snippet, state Everton are ‘looking’ for a January transfer for Sandro, and have themselves ‘opened the door’ to a potential winter deal.
Of course, none of this should really impact Everton wanting a good deal, if they go about things the right way and aren’t naive, but it may encourage the player to pressure the Toffees more if it’s a move he wants.
