Sandro Ramirez to Valencia is gathering a little pace in Spain, probably because it could be an attractive option for both club and player.
Valencia are looking to add to their strength in depth and options upfront, and with Simone Zaza picking up an injury the need is even greater.
The Italian striker has been in good form this season but that could easily change, and he has been known to be temperamental.
That’s where Everton’s Sandro comes in, with his rather attractive La Liga scoring record. Mundo Deportivo say Sandro is the ‘first option’ for Valencia for the January transfer window.
The Spanish club would be looking at a loan from Everton with a permanent purchase option, but there’s La Liga competition from Sevilla and Malaga.
Should Sandro’s Everton situation not show signs of improving then there’s every chance he’d be keen on such a move this winter. It’s up to David Unsworth, or whoever is next in charge, to show Sandro he has a future at Goodison Park.
