According to a claim in the Catalan media, Barcelona are casting an eye over Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Manchester United’s Antony Martial.

The Spanish side would apparently be looking to bolster their attacking options in the coming windows after the departure of Neymar this summer, and the two Premier League stars could be options.

Mundo Deportivo have reported today Kane and Martial could be on Barcelona’s agenda after sporting director Roberto Fernandez watched Tottenham’s game with Real Madrid and then Manchester United against Benfica.

The Catalan newspaper suggest Kane was being watched by Fernandez, and the England international played his part in Tottenham’s impressive 1-1 draw in Madrid.

The Barcelona director then travelled to Lisbon to watch Martial, but he would have been left disappointed as the Frenchman only came on late into the game.

Looking to sign Kane would be an ambitious move by Barcelona, and given they already have Luis Suarez as their No.9 it can be questioned. However Martial is the type of forward Barcelona may need in their squad.

Neymar signed for PSG in the last window and Martial could be the ideal player to fill the void left by the Brazil star.

It’s unlikely that either Manchester United or Tottenham would be keen sellers, although Kane is more important for his club than Martial.
