According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce have been offered the chance to sign Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney.

In recent days, the Scotland international has been linked with a return to Celtic and a possible reunion with Brendan Rodgers.

Sporx today report on the latest developments regarding Fenerbahce’s pursuit for a left back and the Arsenal player has emerged as an option for the Super Lig giants.

The Istanbul side sold Ferdi Kadıoğlu to Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer and with a long-term injury to Jayden Oosterwolde, Jose Mourinho needs to address this position.

It’s claimed Fenerbahce have been offered Tierney via agents and that the Yellow Canaries see the 27-year-old as a better option than Tottenham Hotspur’s Sergio Reguilón.

However, reports in the UK media say Tierney is closing in on a return to Celtic, five and half years after leaving the Scottish champions for Arsenal.

Sky Sports yesterday reported the player is in talks with Celtic over a pre-contract agreement and it’s looking likely he’ll sign for the Glasgow club in the summer. Tierney has less than six months left on his current deal with the Gunners.

Fenerbahce have been linked with a number of left backs this month and may now have to pursue those targets.
