Al-Hilal have shown interest in signing Luis Guilherme from West Ham United this month, approaching the Hammers this week.

That’s according to UOL, who report the Saudi Arabian club have discussed a deal with West Ham in the last few days.

According to their information, Al-Hilal are considering offering over €30m for the forward. Talks between the two clubs are at an early stage.

The belief is that West Ham could be open to selling the summer signing this month. They are expected to negotiate for players from its squad so they can strengthen their attacking options.

That means a departure for Guilherme, who joined for €23m from Palmeiras in the summer, is on the table. The 18-year-old has barely featured since then managing just two appearances in the Premier League to date.

In fact, he has just five appearances totalling 43 minutes across all competitions so far. That seemingly makes Al-Hilal believe there could be a deal for them.

Their current squad already boasts Brazilians such as Neymar, Marcos Leonardo, Malcom and Renan Lodi. The West Ham youngster would have no problem settling in then.

It all depends on him and West Ham. Both will have a decision to make if Al-Hilal get serious. The fact they’ve already started asking questions suggests they may do so soon.
