Galatasaray have given ‘full authority’ to transfer expert George Gardi to try and sign Kyle Walker from Manchester City.
That’s according to Fanatik, who report that Gardi has been put on the case to try and get Walker to Turkey.
Gardi is the man behind big transfers such as Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen for the Turkish club.
He is well regarded by them as a result and has now been given ‘full authority’ to try and ‘detonate a big bombshell’ on the market again. And the focus is on Manchester City’s Kyle Walker.
He officially asked to leave the Premier League champions this week. This was confirmed by Pep Guardiola and has sparked a race for him across Europe.
Galatasaray’s management have evaluated a move for the 34-year-old and decided to make their move. Gardi has been brought in and will now try to negotiate a loan deal for him.
He intends to start negotiations with Manchester City on Galatasaray’s behalf as soon as possible. The Turkish side face competition, though, with the British press putting as many as five clubs in the mix for Walker’s signature.
Manchester City, for their part, only intend to negotiate if an ‘attractive offer’ is made to them. Afterall, Walker has been a part of their team throughout this season so far. Whether Galatasaray, via Gardi, can make such an offer remains to be seen.
