There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are still showing interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon.

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to the Istanbul giants since the last transfer window as their search for a left back continues.

A Spor today report on the latest developments regarding Fenerbahce’s pursuit for the Tottenham player and they say Jose Mourinho has held a meeting with the player to discuss a possible move to the Super Lig.

That meeting is said to have been held in the past few days, and Mourinho is paraphrased as saying: “Let’s work together again.”

According to the Turkish media outlet, Fenerbahce sporting director Mario Branco will now travel to England and hold transfer talks with Tottenham. There have also been widespread reports Ange Postecoglou will allow the 28-year-old to leave the Premier League side in this transfer window.

The Yellow Canaries sold Ferdi Kadıoğlu to Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer and with a long-term injury to Jayden Oosterwolde, the Portuguese coach needs to address the left side of his defence.

Newcastle United’s Lloyd Kelly has also been linked in the past 24 hours.
