Marcus Rashford has been linked to multiple clubs in the January transfer widow, with Manchester United seemingly ready to part ways with their homegrown attacker.

AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have been repeatedly linked this week, although German reports pretty much dismissed the idea of serious interest from BVB.

Juventus were dragged into the picture for the Manchester United player on Thursday, and there’s even been a claim in Italy that Arsenal have contacted the Red Devils to ask about signing Rashford, but it remains AC Milan which looks the likeliest destination.

The Serie A club have reportedly met with the player’s bother and agent, and there’s confidence that an agreement can be reached on wages during a loan spell, with Manchester United continuing to pay a chunk of Rashford’s salary.

AC Milan manager Sergio Conceicao has been holding a press conference today ahead of the club’s match against Cagliari in Serie A.

He was inevitably asked about the Rashford transfer, and TMW quote him as saying: “You try in every way (laughs). In Portugal it’s even worse. Here we talk about football, then every now and then someone tries… Rashford is a good player like many others, let’s see what happens.”

That will certainly do nothing to dampen the rumours.
