Schalke’s Taylan Bulut is on the transfer agenda of Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth.
The 18-year-old joined the German club’s academy in 2020 and made his way into their first team last year.
Bulut has cemented his place this season, making 14 appearances for Schalke and has also operated as a centre-back. His performances, versatility and potential would have caught attention from Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.
SportBild provide the latest on the right-back and cover the Premier League duo’s interest in him.
Both Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth ‘come knocking’ to sign the Germany U19 international.
The defender has less than 18 months on his contract and the report states it includes a salary of €600,000 per year. The second division German club are preparing to offer him a new contract, but the renewal won’t be easy, partly because of the two English clubs.
SportBild add the youngster will only renew his deal if Schalke agree to insert a release clause.
Bulut’s contract situation can force Schalke to sell him, either in January or at the end of this season, and Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth could take advantage of this.
