Cesare Casadei played the full 90 minutes for Chelsea in their 5-1 win over Shamrock Rovers last week.

It was his fifth appearance in the UEFA Conference League and this came before he was on the bench for Enzo Maresca’s side on Sunday during Chelsea’s goalless draw against Everton.

Despite the recent hint of positivity for the Italian, his future at Stamford Bridge remains in doubt.

Calciomercato report that Monza and Lazio are ready to bring the midfielder to Serie A, with the former having been in contact for the player for some time.

Monza are currently offering ‘two interesting conditions’ to the Blues as part of their move. They have put forward a semi-guaranteed spot in the starting eleven for Casadei and a dry loan deal until the end of the season.

Lazio want to insert a buying option for the summer. The situation is still very much open and all of it comes down to Chelsea, their decision and their plans for loan transfers.

There is interest from foreign clubs as well and previously, AC Milan were also an interested party. But soon after that, Casadei changed agents to Epic Sports Italy and this ended the Rossoneri’s hopes of signing the 21-year-old. Now, the situation remains rather open.
