Manchester United have been linked with a move for AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez over the past few weeks.

The defender’s current deal at the San Siro runs out in the summer of 2026 and some encouragement has been handed to the Red Devils from Italy.

MilanLive report that Hernandez is facing a very complicated situation at Milan, as he only came on from the bench against Hellas Verona a week after not playing at all against Genoa.

The situation is alerting Manchester United and the Red Devils are said to be ‘ready to go on the attack’ for the left-back, whose agent has had a meeting with the Rossoneri but no progress has been made when it comes to a new deal.

Ruben Amorim’s side can take advantage of the situation, with the chances of the France international departing Milan said to be ‘very high’.

Something similar is also reported by Gazzetta dello Sport today, who do not mention Manchester United, but they explain how Hernandez’s relationship with Paulo Fonseca is full of tension.

The manager is not happy with the player’s attitude in training and has made it clear to him, even doing that in front of teammates. They too state that this could lead to other big clubs taking advantage.
