Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran has been the centre of transfer talk this week.
It was reported earlier today that Napoli have already held talks with the striker’s entourage and will soon hold talks with Aston Villa, as they aim to take their move forward.
There is now another update from Italy about the 21-year-old’s future and it backs up that Duran could well leave the Birmingham club soon.
AreaNapoli say they have been informed by Duran’s entourage that the forward could move to a ‘big European club’ soon enough.
His future, it is mentioned, might not lie in Italy and he could yet stay in England. Arsenal and Manchester City are potential suitors but the report states that Aston Villa will demand a fee of €60m for the Colombian.
That is the fee the Villans would want to let Duran leave during the season – or in January. That could change in the summer, when the valuation can rise.
As of now, Napoli are looking to sign the player only in the summer transfer window. They are considering their non-EU player slots and that could determine whether Duran really ends up in Turin or not.
