Aston Villa signed Rory Wilson from Rangers in the summer 2022 window.

Since then, he’s only grown in stature at the Birmingham club. He scored 16 times in 13 U18s Premier League games last season, leading to him becoming part of the club’s U21s side.

He already has one goal in the Premier League 2 this season and has made the jump well. There is now a risk of the Villans losing the 18-year-old striker, who is attracting attention from many clubs across Europe.

SportItalia have reported on the teenager, stating that Wilson’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed and Inter Milan are keeping a close eye on his performances and development.

He is seen as a ‘low-cost opportunity’ by potential suitors, with clubs in Germany, Belgium and Portugal also said to be interested.

Wilson will be out of contract in the summer transfer window and has already rejected several contract offers from Aston Villa.

The report mentions that from the January transfer window onwards, the striker will be available for a compensation fee of only €270,000 and that is seen as a big blow to Aston Villa.
