Ange Postecoglou has left Sergio Reguilón out of his plans at Tottenham Hotspur and the left-back hasn’t made an appearance this season.

Reguilón is in his final year of contract and his situation at Spurs is unlikely to improve this season.

On November 16th, we covered claims from Spain which stated Sevilla are circling around the 27-year-old as his exit from Tottenham is heating up. It was also reported the La Liga side have a deal in place with him.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC back up the Andalusian club’s desire to secure the fullback’s services and cover the challenges they will face to get a deal over the line.

Reguilón was on loan at the Spanish club during the 2019/20 season and they want to bring him back on a free transfer next summer.

Sevilla’s ‘main problem’ is that other clubs are showing interest in the Tottenham player, who can be a market opportunity because of his contract situation.

Getafe are seen as the strongest option. This can please Tottenham as they could collect money rather than letting him leave for nothing at the end of this season.

Getafe’s interest is a concern for Sevilla, and this allows Reguilón to leave Tottenham in the winter market.
