Inter Milan’s Federico Dimarco has ended up on the radar of Manchester United and Manchester City.
That’s at least what InterLive.it are reporting and they explain the conditions needed to secure his services.
The left-back has been mainly used as a wing-back at the San Siro. He has been a regular since the 2021/22 season and his fine displays for the club helped him make his debut for Italy in 2022.
Dimarco has a goal and three assists for Italy in his last four games and has impressed for the Nerazzurri this season. This has seen several European clubs take notice, and that apparently includes Manchester United and Manchester City.
Bayern Munich looked at the 26-year-old recently. They could return for him as Alphonso Davies could leave the Allianz Areana as a free agent next summer.
Vincent Kompany could request the Italy international, and the Bundesliga side would push for him, if the conditions are favourable. It’s claimed the Serie A winners will need a ‘stellar offer’ of not less than €80m to sell him.
Inter’s demand is high, with Manchester United and Manchester City potentially dragged in because it’s thought they could afford it.
Erik ten Hag has been without Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia due to injuries while Pep Guardiola has mainly used Joško Gvardiol as a left-back this season. The Premier League duo are in the picture to sign Dimarco but are unlikely to meet Inter’s €80m request.
