West Ham’s move for Carlos Soler was delayed due to a lack of financial wiggle room and as the Spaniard nears a move to the London club, there could be an outgoing transfer as well.

Nayef Aguerd’s future has been in doubt in recent days after there was interest from Fiorentina and others. He could now be the player whose exit can help West Ham today.

Santi Aouna has reported that things have been ‘moving’ for the defender in recent hours.

Real Sociedad and Villarreal have been interested in him and so have Al-Ittihad.

The Moroccan, it is reported, wants to stay in Europe and has rejected the Saudi side. Al-Ittihad had made a huge offer for the centre-back but they’ve been unsuccessful.

Aguerd wants to head to La Liga and has a choice to make between La Real and the Yellow Submarines.

While Fiorentina were previously mentioned as an interested club, Aouna’s update finds no mention of the Italian side.

The two Spanish clubs now have to act quickly to seal his signature as Aguerd’s exit is quite close.
