Jonathan Rowe starred for Norwich City last season and it is only natural his performances attracted multiple clubs.

Interest in the winger has come from England and even abroad. Lazio were an interested party back in January and were said to be working on a move for him, but nothing quite materialised.

There now seems to be more interest from abroad in the 24-year-old, who scored 12 times in the Championship last season.

Fabrice Hawkins has reported that Marseille see him as a potential target this summer and initial contact has been made. While discussions are said to be ‘ongoing’ already between Norwich and Marseille, they’re not quite at an advanced stage.

Santi Aouna has also reported something along the same lines, confirming that talks between the two clubs are ongoing and that Rowe is someone ‘being tracked’ by Marseille.

Meanwhile, Footmercato state that no common ground has been found by Marseille during their talks with Norwich, but they definitely have interest in the Englishman. It remains to be seen how the situation evolves as multiple sources confirming the story is always a good sign.
