Niclas Füllkrug is flying out to London today to complete a move to West Ham United after the two sides reached an agreement for the striker.

That’s according to Sky Sports Germany, who report that ‘the poker’ for Füllkrug is now over and the player is set to fly to undergo a medical and complete the deal.

Reports last night indicated that West Ham and Dortmund had finally reached an agreement for Füllkrug after the Hammers had pushed throughout this week.

Various comments from Dortmund director of football Sebastien Kehl and then goalkeeper Gregor Kobel then hinted that a deal was advancing, and Sky confirm as much.

They say West Ham accepted a counteroffer from Dortmund, with the German side demanding €30m all in for the German international. According to their information, BVB will receive €26m plus €4m in bonuses.

Füllkrug wants to move to West Ham and is pushing to complete it, with a contract until 2027, with the option of another year, on the table that will see him earn €3m per year. He is considered the absolute dream player for Julen Lopetegui.

Negotiations were led by West Ham director Tim Steidten alongside Kehl and have developed quickly with Füllkrug set to fly to London today for a medical. Dortmund have confirmed he’s been released from their training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland for “discussions with another club.”

They’re already looking at replacements and have held initial ‘loose discussions’ with them, a further hint that Füllkrug is on his way.
