Nottingham Forest’s impending move for winger Ramón Sosa is set to be celebrated in Paraguay as his former club Atlético Tembetary are set to receive a tidy sum from the deal.
Versus report that the second division team, who are described as ‘modest’ are watching matters closely and could be in line for a $4.5m windfall.
Reports last night and today have Sosa closing in on a move to Nottingham Forest from Talleres in Argentina, with it explained a verbal agreement is in place and he’s set to fly over to England to finalise the move.
That would leave Atlético Tembetary ‘rubbing their hands’ as they still own 30% of the player after selling him earlier in his career.
That will mean they’re set to receive $4.5m from the deal taking Sosa to Nottingham Forest, important money they can use to bet on a bid to return to the top flight.
It will also give them the ‘necessary economic cushion’ to be able to finish the new stadium they are building in the city of Luque too.
So, plenty of benefits for them and we’re sure they’ll be watching the matter closely waiting for positive news after the developments over the last 48 hours.
