Things are starting to look a little better in West Ham United’s chase for Juventus winger Matías Soulé.

The Hammers have intensively been linked to the player lately, and recent reports from the Italian media claimed that while the Bianconeri demand €40m+ for his transfer, the London side would like to pay half of that.

Newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport features a fresh story on the situation, and even though they claim that Juventus may be interested in keeping him for the season, they also say there’s now a smaller price tag for his sale.

It’s now claimed that Soulé can go for €35m, and that’s definitely a good sign for West Ham and other clubs who’ve been interested in him.

The Hammers are once again mentioned as a potential destination, as well the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.

What West Ham need to do is to show that they’re actually keen on placing a bid for Soulé, otherwise Juventus are tarting to accept the idea that he’ll be available for Thiago Motta in next season’s squad.
