According to a claim in the Turkish media, Rangers defender Borna Barišić is on the verge of leaving Ibrox.

Despite still getting games in Phillippe Clement’s starting eleven last season it seems his time with Rangers is coming to an end.

Isci Haber today report on the latest developments regarding the future of Barišić at Rangers and they say he will travel to Turkey this weekend ahead of his proposed move to Trabzonspor.

It’s claimed the Croatian defender will have a medical on Sunday with the Super Lig side and it only seems a matter of time before he’s confirmed as their player.

Trabzonspor manager Abdullah Avcı is reportedly keen to bring in the Rangers left back and he will also be joined by his Ibrox teammate John Lundstram.

It’s been no big secret that Lundstram would be heading to the Turkish side this summer, with his Rangers contract set to expire at the end of the month. The former Sheffield United player will also have a medical with the Trabzon club on Sunday.

Barišić made 35 appearances for Rangers last season, scoring 1 goal. He’s contracted to the Glasgow club until June 2027.
