Disappointment is growing at St. Pauli as they get set to lose youngster Eric da Silva Moreira to Nottingham Forest.

That’s according to BILD, who say Nottingham Forest are close to signing the 18-year-old, with concrete talks between the two clubs taking place and the youngster willing to make the switch, valued at around €1.5m.

St. Pauli have not yet commented on the matter, a stance they’ve maintained in recent months despite growing reports about the player.

Moreira has been a rising star under manager Fabian Hürzeler, who has now left for Brighton, and that has not gone unnoticed, with Nottingham Forest now making their move.

The whole deal has been planned by Jorge Mendes, who is keen to get him into the Premier League for obvious reasons.

The deal is expected to become clear soon and that will lead to disappointment at St. Pauli, who have already lost their manager and now seem likely to lose their ‘top talent’ too.

They consider the player as the perfect role model for the club’s youth system, a clear example of how a player can make his way from the youth team to the first-team and shine there too.

He’s now set to depart for the Premier League and Nottingham Forest as the German side get picked apart this summer.
