West Ham United’s chase for Internacional defender Vitão today gets a very interesting update from outlet Revista Colorada.

The website, who broke the news about the Hammers’ effort to sign the defender, now brings more details on Kia Joorabchian’s efforts to get the transfer done.

It’s said the agent has been working on several deals for West Ham in Brazil, as he’s also had involvement in talks for Carlos Miguel and Luis Guilherme before going for Vitão.

According to Revista Colorada, the agents of those three players have been speaking in the past few hours about the possibility of the trio playing for the Hammers next season.

Internacional are reportedly demanding €12m for Vitão’s sale. They only keep 80% of that, so they’d only take €10m.

Initial reports from Brazil said West Ham would like to pay €8m, so there’s a gap to bridge before the clubs can find an agreement.

The Hammers seem to mean business in Brazil with so many chases for local players, and Vitão could stand out as a cheap option to reinforce their defence.
