Alejo Véliz has been restricted to a substitute role since joining Tottenham Hotspur from Rosario Central last summer.
Spurs allowed the striker to join Sevilla on loan in the winter market, and his situation didn’t improve at the La Liga side… with just 29 minutes from six matches.
This has seen both River Plate and Racing make an approach for the Tottenham player.
That’s according to Bolavip, who say the two Argentine clubs have contacted the 20-year-old’s entourage over a potential deal in the summer window.
Véliz’s entourage has informed both River Plate and Racing that he won’t be returning to his country in the next window. That’s because Tottenham want to send the player out on loan to a European club, where he can enjoy regular game time next season.
The South American’s current deal lasts until 2029, and Spurs’ immediate plan is for him to gain experience at another club.
