Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz’s agent could be set for a meeting with Juventus today to discuss his client and what happens in the summer with him.
That’s according to Tutto Juve, who say there may be a meeting planned between Juventus and Alcaraz’s agent to discuss his future.
They explain that agent Sebastien Lopez is set to be at the Coppa Italia final between Atalanta and Juventus this evening at the Olimpico, setting up the possibility of a meeting with Juventus’ hierarchy.
Lopez had been in Italy a few weeks ago to follow the clash with Lazio but did not hold a meeting over his client at that point.
Alcaraz has been on loan with Juventus from Southampton since the January transfer window and they have an option to buy him permanently, although all indications are that they have no intention of doing so.
Instead it appears the Italian giants wish to renegotiate with Southampton and perhaps get the youngster on loan again instead.
That would require negotiations with his agent and Lopez’s latest trip to Italy could have provided them with the perfect opportunity to get those talks started at the very least.
Even if they don’t, TJ say that the match would only postpone those talks by a few days and they will be happening at some point soon.
