For several weeks, multiple reports from Italy have claimed Newcastle United are one of the potential destinations for Matias Soulé.

The winger, who belongs to Juventus, is having a very positive season with Frosinone, with 11 goals and three assists, and is now wanted by several clubs.

Soulé today spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about his form, and ended up being quizzed about his plans for the summer window.

The Newcastle target made it clear he has some other priorities right now, even though multiple clubs may be coming after him.

“I don’t know, I don’t think about after the summer. I only have my head on the last two games at Frosinone, hopefully we can reach the goal of salvation, perhaps with the first away win that has not yet arrived,” said Soulé.

Recent reports from Italy claimed that Juventus’ idea is to sell Soulé for around €35m. As well as Newcastle, the likes of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have been said to be interested in him.

Since the Bianconeri don’t seem to have any plans for him in their squad next season, it’s very likely they’ll hope for an auction with the 21-year-old, just like with other youngsters.

Transfermarkt valued Soulé at €4m when he moved to Frosinone last summer, and now has his market value at €25m.
