Manchester United now seem one step from making an attempt to sign Bremer from Juventus, at least according to Wednesday evening claims from Italy.
A fresh story on the centre-back’s future is today brought by Calcio Mercato, who claim the Red Devils are in a battle with Atletico Madrid for him.
According to the outlet, after being in the stands to watch him several times, Manchester United are ‘ready to make a €50m lunge’ for the defender.
The Red Devils are also said to be willing to offer Bremer €10m a year, which is a salary the player ‘would not say no to’.
The problem is that Juventus know that the Brazilian is very much wanted in the transfer market, and €50m may not be enough for a deal this summer.
It’s said the Old Lady’s request is at least €70m, especially in case they don’t get to make other big sales in this transfer window.
Earlier reports have suggested €60m from Manchester United would be enough for a deal, but Juventus will obviously try and get as much as possible.
Atletico Madrid may not want to go to those figures, so the Turin club will hope the battle grows further.
