Earlier this month, we covered claims from Italy that Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion are among the clubs in the picture to sign Juventus’ Samuel Iling-Junior in the summer window.
On April 8th, Tuttosport reported the north London club are expected to face competition to secure the 20-year-old’s services.
Tutto Juve now bring the latest on the player and Tottenham and Brighton are named as interested parties.
Operating mainly as a left wing-back, Iling-Junior has made 23 appearances this season and that includes only three starts in all competitions.
The England U21 international has just over a year left on his deal and the report states he’s ‘closer to farewell’ in the next window.
That’s because several clubs have ‘come forward’ to sign him, and Tottenham and Brighton are named as the contenders from the Premier League. He’s also being chased by Serie A sides, with Atalanta and Bologna in the mix.
Juventus, for their part, are ready to part ways with Iling-Junior and value him at €15m. This would be an affordable price for both Spurs and the Seagulls.
