Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton and Hove Albion have joined the growing list of clubs interested in Union Saint-Gilloise star Mohammed Amoura as he continues to shine in Belgium.
That’s according to Le Soir, relayed by Foot News, who say the two clubs are the latest to look at the striker ahead of the summer.
They explain that Union SG are preparing for a busy summer, with Amoura and teammate Cameron Puertas likely to depart and enjoying a growing list of admirers between them.
Amoura in particular has been linked with pretty much everyone over the last few days as he continues to shine, with a record of 22 goals and six assists in 40 games in all competitions so far.
Le Soir say West Ham have already made an offer of €15m, which was refused, while Tottenham’s bid, of which the amount is unknown, was also deemed too low as well.
Union SG want at least €20m for their man and are seemingly confident of getting it as Brighton and Wolves are would ‘also be on board’ and ready to make a move for him.
Brighton is not all that shocking given they were once linked with the Belgian side and have signed several players from them as well as sending their own stars there on loan.
Wolves also makes sense as they remain in desperate need of a centre-forward, even if Gary O’Neil has solved their goalscoring problems this season.
Whether they’re willing to pay €20m and satisfy Union remains to be seen but they can now be added to the list of suitors and seem likely to contribute to the noise around him.
